Join us on Thursday February 13 at the Sunset Grille in Watertown.
The United Way of Greater Waterbury Emerging Leaders is a network of young professionals who live or work in the 10-town region and share a passion to enrich our community. The group provides a platform to impact change throughout our community and to grow personally, professionally and socially!
Emerging leaders are not only encouraged to attend various events, but to participate in planning or leading through sub-committees as well. The United Way also welcomes ideas for future initiatives.
Learn about the community, the need within it and what others have done to make a difference. The United Way of Greater Waterbury encourages members to roll up their sleeves, get out in the community and make an impact by volunteering their time at one of our many opportunities throughout the year.
United Way Emerging Leaders will be involved in fundraising efforts for various community needs. From Camp Fire Yoga and spin-a-thons to wine tastings and paint parties, members are encouraged to participate in the planning and execution of fundraising through sub-committees.
The Emerging Leaders program fosters professional growth through leadership development opportunities, such as development workshops, seminars and networking events to expand personal and professional connections.
Together, you can help make a difference with the United Way. Great things happen when you LIVE UNITED.
