Volunteer Opportunities
We encourage our members to roll up their sleeves, get out in the community and make an impact by volunteering their time at one of our many events throughout the year
including Stock the Pantry to fight food insecurity, reading to children to support early literacy initiatives and more. The potential to make a difference together is endless.
Fundraisers
Our members are involved in fundraising efforts for our community needs throughout the year. Our initial focus is on our Women's Health & Wellness Initiative. This will
support programs and initiatives that enhance women’s mental health, self-care, resiliency, financial freedom, provide mentorship and life coaching to inspire change.
We Are Not Alone
In more than 165 United Ways across the world, more than 70,000 women are coming together through local Women
United chapters. In the Greater Waterbury area, we are focused on United Way's three impact areas: Basic Needs, Education, and Financial Stability.
